Wolvis is een breigoedlabel waar poëzie en ambacht samenkomen in elke steek. De uitgesproken ontwerpen en gedurfde kleurencombinaties zijn vaak geïnspireerd door de natuur en architectuur. 
Voor de wintercollectie van 2024 werkte mijn hogeschool samen met de Nederlandse illustrator Merlijne Marell, die met haar fabelachtige planten- en dierenwereld een unieke, fantasierijke dimensie aan de collectie toevoegde. Waarbij wij studenten de kans kregen om een design te creëren wat de essentie en uitstraling van Wolvis toont. Thema vlinders wat sterk verbonden is met thematiek van Merlijne Marell gebruikte ik ook als hoofdthema. De organische tekening toont een close up wat de sierlijkheid van de vlindervleugel.

Wolvis is a knitwear label where poetry and craftsmanship meet in every stitch. The bold designs and daring color combinations are often inspired by nature and architecture.
For the 2024 winter collection, my college collaborated with Dutch illustrator Merlijne Marell, who infused the collection with her whimsical world of plants and animals, adding a unique, imaginative dimension. As students, we had the opportunity to create a design that reflects the essence and character of Wolvis. I chose butterflies as my main theme, closely tied to Marell’s work, and used an organic drawing that showcases the elegance of a butterfly wing in close-up.
